This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds of custom blinds and curtains purchased from Divisioninventor.
Custom Products
All custom window treatments, including made-to-measure blinds and curtains, are manufactured specifically to your specifications. Due to their custom nature, these products are generally not eligible for return or refund unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.
Manufacturing Defects
If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, we will:
- Replace the defective item at no additional cost
- Cover all shipping costs for the replacement
- Work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to report any manufacturing defects.
Measurement Errors
If we performed the measurements and there is an error in sizing:
- We will remake the product to the correct specifications
- No additional charges will apply for the correction
- We will arrange for proper installation
Customer Measurement Errors
If you provided the measurements and there is an error:
- We may offer to remake the product at a discounted rate
- Original materials may be reused when possible
- Additional charges may apply for new materials
Fabric and Color Variations
Please note that:
- Fabric colors may vary slightly from digital images due to monitor settings
- We recommend requesting fabric samples before finalizing your order
- Color variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns
Return Process
To initiate a return or report an issue:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number and detailed description of the issue
- Include photographs if applicable
- Wait for our response and instructions
Refund Policy
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Manufacturing defects that cannot be corrected
- Significant errors on our part that cannot be resolved
- Cancellation of order before production begins (subject to cancellation fees)
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10-14 business days after approval.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom products that have been installed or altered
- Products damaged due to improper handling or installation
- Items returned after 30 days from delivery
- Products that have been used or show signs of wear
Shipping Costs
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. Return shipping costs for approved returns will be covered by Divisioninventor.
